MIC’s (virtual) Podcast Club returns for July
We’re going virtual again for July’s MIC (virtual) Podcast Club and this month we’re talking Trailers with Manchester based Podcast Producer Alex Bennett.
Alex is a Manchester based podcast producer specialising in post and remote production. He has worked on projects for the BBC, the Huffington post, top UK business podcasts, and audio dramas. His day job is producing and editing podcasts with Lower Street Media and Art of Podcast – helping businesses, entrepreneurs, academics, and artists make great podcasts.
At MIC’s (virtual) Podcast Club, they’ll also be the opportunity to put your general podcasting questions to the MIC podcaster community and of course, for you our top podcaster community to answer them.
MIC’s (virtual) Podcast Club is a space for podcasters to hangout, get advice from each other, chew the fat and be amongst your tribe for a few hours. Especially important we reckon during this weird old time.
At our (virtual) meetups so far, we’ve had professional podcast producers, hobbyists and DIY creators, BBC journalists, PR specialists and radio professionals – it really is for anyone who’s nuts about podcasting.
We covered loads of useful stuff like remote recording, marketing your podcast, finding your niche and creating chapters.
So how it rolls:
1. Introductions
2. Our monthly guest QnA
3. Put your general podcast questions to the community
You are also more then welcome to simply observe and soak up the joy / advice / awesomeness
Bring your own drinks 😉
