MIC founder announced as MPA Awards judge
Our founder Vic Elizabeth Turnbull joins a stellar panel of judges to help celebrate and spotlight the best creative, digital and media in Manchester at this year’s MPA Inspiration Awards…
The MPA Awards, first staged in 2013, not only recognises the amazing talent from across the city but they’re also a way of inspiring future innovation and creativity, which are what the MPA call “key tools to unlock the potential and address the challenges of the road ahead”.
The awards cover a variety of sectors and consist of people-focused awards and specialist categories including The Martyn Hett Inspiring Manchester award. To reflect the ever-changing creative landscape and the way we work, they’ve added 5 new categories this year including podcasts and ‘freelance hero’.
Vic’s mega excited at the prospect of reviewing this year’s entries, she adds,
2020 has thrown us a massive curve ball, but what Manchester is damn good at is bouncing back. These awards can only support this comeback by shining a light on the very best creative talent. Through the MPA Awards, we continue to cement the region as the best and most innovative creative, media and digital sector in the UK. This is why I’m really pleased to be a judge at this year’s MPA Inspiration Awards.

Vic’s in good company on the judging panel too, which packed full of brilliant names from across the creative, digital and media sector including folk from industry bodies, and impressive national and regional businesses such as facebook, twitter, Acast, BBC and Manchester Metropolitan University. The panel is chaired by Jane McMillan Head of Communications Marketing at Warburtons. See the full panel here
The awards are hosted by The MPA, who are the North West’s leading Media, Digital and Creative, not-for-profit organisation representing over 2000 members.
So if you’re a creative, digital, media superstar or you’re working in a kick-ass agency or company in Manchester the deadline to enter is 18th September 2020 – so get writing your entries!
