MIC’s (virtual) Podcast Club is a monthly podcaster meetup. This month we welcome top podcast producer Charlotte Foster who talks all things pre-production.

The virtual aspect means that YOU CAN COME FROM ANYWHERE!

The first half of November’s MIC’s Podcast Club on Wednesday the 18th is a free-for-all QnA asked and answered by the community there on the night. Next up we welcome special guest and buddy of our podcaster meetup, it’s Charlotte Foster! She’s a former BBC and LBC radio presenter she’s now runs her own fabulous podcast production company. She’ll be taking the stage for the 2nd half if the meetup where she’s going to be talking PLANNING your podcast. As Vic our likes to say, You Fail to Plan, You Plan to Fail!

What goes down

Since going virtual, at MIC’s Podcast Club, we’ve covered loads of useful stuff like media coverage, mailing lists, trailers, remote recording, audiograms, microphones, growing your audience, growing your audience, “shortcasts” and rating and reviewing podcasts.

At our previous podcaster meetups we’ve been joined by professional podcast producers, hobbyists and DIY creators, BBC journalists, PR specialists and radio professionals – it really is for anyone who’s crazy about podcasting.

How it rolls

5:50pm (GMT) – Doors Open
6pm – Podcast Club kicks off
6:10pm – Podcasting Q&A (ask us anything!)
7.00pm – break
7.10pm – Charlotte Foster
8pm – Podcast Club Closes

There is no pressure for you to get involved in our podcaster meetup, you’re more than welcome to simply observe and soak up the joy / advice / awesomeness.
