As some of you might be coming straight from work, we’ve also chosen a place where you can get something to eat as well, which is really close to Deansgate / Oxford Road railway stations and Deansgate / Castlefield tram stop.

All you need to bring is yourself and some money for drinks / food to this in-person meetup for podcasters!

Bit of history and context for you here

Y’know MIC’s Podcast Club (originally just called ‘MIC’ – in fact, it’s where we got our name from) was set-up to bring podcasters together physically? There wasn’t and still isn’t a community like this in the UK for podcasters. We started it in late 2018 and throughout 2019 and early 2020 met exclusively in-person. Then COVID happened and we went online only.

At almost 800 members, our virtual meetups have enabled our community to grow with podcasters from across the globe – and we will continue to put our virtual events online each month. We think it’s still vitally important to support podcasters from everywhere. However, there’s something special about people coming together in person – especially when you have a shared passion. So throughout 2022, we will try and do a few more of these in-person socials, maybe some in different locations too!
