Hear how That Great Manc Pod showcases their community
That Great Manc Pod podcast exists solely to showcase the brilliant work of community groups in Greater Manchester. Discover why and how they’re doing it at our Grab The MIC: Live on Tuesday 25th October.
That Great Manc Pod is Greater Manchester’s Community Podcast. It was started in 2020 by the Manc Spirit charity. What makes it special is that it is not all about showcasing the brilliant work of Manc Spirit. Nope, that’s not their vibe at all. It’s all about profiling the work and impact of other not-for-profits who are doing brilliant, impactful work stuff across the Greater Manchester region.
By turning the tables, they’re giving a voice and a platform to groups who may not be able to get typical media coverage or perhaps don’t have the resources to market themselves. That Great Manc pod is providing this space. They’ve spoken to good eggs like The Proud Trust, Age UK, The Northern Poets Society and yours truly!
So why did Manc Spirit decide to take this approach and how successful has it been?
Grab The MIC: Live with That Great Manc Podcast
