So, we’re delighted to showcase how we’ve recently helped two fantastic clients the Acts charity and SENDIASS Manchester to launch podcasts that are making a real difference:

SEND Talk – Empowering parents of children with special education needs

Following on from a successful first series, we work with SENDIASS Manchester once again to create Series 2 of SEND Talk.

SENDIASS Manchester is a support service for young people with special educational needs and the parents of SEND children.

SEND Talk answers the most commonly asked questions the service receives every day, such as ‘Can the school send my child home?’ or ‘Is my child eligible for home-to-school transport’. Designed as an audible FAQ, the series acts as an accessible resource for parents and young people.

MIC built on their successful first series by providing a full-podcast production solution once again. This included:

• Idea refinement: We helped SENDIASS Manchester to get clear about its vision and ensure the podcast addressed the most pressing concerns of parents and young people
• Seamless production: From recording and editing to scripting and distribution, we handled everything, freeing up SENDIASS’ valuable time and resources
• Expert guidance: We provided ongoing support with scripting and ensured the series landed on all major podcast platforms

The artwork was also designed by a young person too.

Curious Chats and Kind Acts – Spreading Kindness One Conversation at a Time

Acts, a Cheshire-based charity promoting kindness as the cornerstone of a stronger society, approached MIC with a two-fold challenge:

• Expanding their reach beyond geographical boundaries
• Revamping their existing podcast with professional expertise

Our Blended Service was the perfect fit. We combined in-depth podcast training with high-quality production, empowering Acts to create their content long after our collaboration.

By focusing on the power of storytelling, we helped Acts craft an impactful audio series filled with “open and authentic conversations” featuring individuals and organisations promoting kindness in unique ways. From inspiring stories of those who’ve transitioned genders or religions to the journeys of cancer survivors, the eye-opening podcast series champions understanding and encourages kindness through shared experiences.

Sonia Holdsworth, the founder of Acts goes on to explain how working with MIC resulted in a podcast series that exemplifies what the charity stands for,
