Flourish Together CIC are supporting their network of female social entrepreneurs to learn, grow and thrive through their podcast series ‘Supporting Women in Social Enterprise’. Discover how they’re doing it and what the impact has been at the next Grab The MIC: Live on Tuesday 21st March.
Flourish Together CIC supports women to start, sustain and grow social enterprises. As part of their awesome suite of support are learning events and leadership, start-up, and employability programmes
Their podcast, ‘Supporting Women in Social Enterprise’ is an extension of their support services. Each episode focuses on a topic that’s of use to female social entrepreneurs. Think of it like an audible guidebook to social enterprise, with episodes such as governance, crowdfunding, and measuring social impact. In addition to experts in each episode, they also feature members of the Flourish community.
With 12 episodes under their belt, the team has now started using the content as further learning materials for their programmes. For example, pointing participants to specific episodes for further learning in between sessions. They’re also creating episodes to accompany their funded projects.
This is set to be a really useful Grab The MIC: Live insight into how podcasting can not only support your network and community, but contribute to other areas of your work like learning programmes, courses, and how to creatively report back to funders.
