Podcast Club history

MIC’s Podcast Club started in 2018 (originally just called ‘MIC’ – it’s where we got our name) to bring podcasters together in-person. There wasn’t (and still isn’t) a community like this in the UK for podcasters. Throughout 2019 and early 2020 met just in person. Then COVID happened and we went online.

At almost 1,500 members, our virtual meetups have allowed our community to grow with podcasters from across the world – and we will continue to host our monthly virtual events. We think it’s still really important to support podcasters from everywhere. However, there’s something special about people coming together in real-life – especially when you have a shared passion – like podcasting!
