Podcast training for youth activists
The Brief
Amnesty International UK’s Youth Collective is a passionate group of young activists working to advance human rights and justice.
They wanted to explore podcasting as a new way to connect with audiences, share lived experience, and campaign for change. But they didn’t know where to start.
Enter MIC.
What We Delivered
We designed and delivered practical, hands-on podcast training tailored for the Youth Collective – giving them the tools and confidence to plan, record and launch their own podcast.
Our training covered:
- Equipment and recording
- Interviewing and scripting techniques
- Editing, publishing and promotion tips
This session was all about empowerment – equipping young changemakers with the tools to be heard and the confidence to use them.
The Impact
The Youth Collective now have a full structure and roadmap to launch their podcast series, sharing human rights stories in their own words.
They’re already brimming with ideas, and we can’t wait to hear what comes next.
“MIC’s training is the perfect starting point for anyone keen to launch a podcast but doesn’t know where to begin.
The Youth Collective are now equipped with a clear structure—from equipment and editing to promotion. We highly recommend it!”
