The Brief
The Co-op employs over 63,000 people across the UK, spanning food, legal, insurance, pharmacy and funeral care.
They wanted to creatively connect colleagues across divisions – celebrating work culture, highlighting key initiatives, and sharing stories that matter to their people.
They turned to MIC to bring it all together as an internal podcast series: Co-op Conversations.
Because this was made just for Co-op colleagues, the audio stays private. But if you’d like to know more about how we worked on it, give us a shout.
What We Delivered
We produced a 4-part podcast series designed to feel warm, authentic and genuinely engaging – built to be heard by colleagues from the shop floor to head office.
Our role included:
- Developing the format and structure of the series
- Recording episodes both in-person and remotely
- Hosting and presenting the podcast
- Interviewing staff and contributors from across the business
- Editing and polishing every episode
- Creating visual assets for promotion across internal platforms
- Delivering multi-platform files (audio, YouTube, Vimeo-ready)
The Impact
Co-op Conversations is a brilliant example of how podcasting can support internal comms – especially in large, values-led organisations. It’s a way to:
