The Brief
Plan International UK works in over 75 countries, advancing children’s rights and equality for girls. As a global humanitarian organisation, they deliver powerful work across education, health, gender and economic empowerment.
But how do you bring this global impact to life for donors, especially when face-to-face events aren’t possible?
Plan came to MIC looking for a creative and meaningful way to showcase their work to their philanthropic partners. The challenge? Create engaging, human-centred audio that celebrates impact, without the cost and limitations of in-person events.

What We Delivered
MIC produced two standalone podcast pieces featuring voices from Ghana, Malawi and the UK.
Both pieces:
- Were recorded remotely and presented by Plan UK team members
- Included interviews with team members and programme leads in both the UK and Africa
- Were designed as engaging, story-led alternatives to written reports or webinars
MIC’s role

- Coached presenters and interviewees
- Edited and produced final episodes with warmth and polish
The Impact
